WHY…FINANCIAL ADVISER?

Working with a financial adviser can be an effective way to make progress towards your financial goals. With their knowledge, skills, and experience in the financial services industry, financial advisers are equipped to provide guidance on a range of financial products, including mortgages and insurance.

As a financial adviser, the first step we take is to understand your financial goals. If these fall within our scope of advice, we will provide you with a disclosure statement and book an appointment for a confidential and in-depth discussion. Our disclosure statement is written in plain language, and we are happy to answer any questions.

During our meeting, we will work closely with you to uncover your financial needs. This will involve gathering both financial and non-financial information to perform the analysis. Financial information may include your savings, income, and expenses, while non-financial information could be an overview of your current living situation, employment history, or business nature (if self-employed). We may request documentation such as driver’s license, passport, payslips, business financials, tenancy agreement, and bank statements.

Once we have gathered all the necessary information, we will conduct our research and analysis to find the right financial solution for you. This may involve reaching out to several lenders or insurance providers to submit your application or discuss the features, benefits, and drawbacks of a particular product.

Based on our findings, our recommendation will be delivered to you via a “Statement of Advice,” which will provide detailed information on the product we recommend and why we believe it is the best fit for you.

If you accept our recommendation, we will work with the provider to process your application. For mortgages, this may involve securing an interest rate and submitting unconditional loan documentation to your solicitor. For insurance policies, we will work with the provider to underwrite the policy, and you should receive your policy documentation in your mailbox within a few days.

After your mortgage or insurance policy is in place, it is important to review your financial situation regularly to ensure that your loan structure or insurance policy is still suitable for your needs. We aim to contact you regularly to discuss any changes to your financial situation, but you are welcome to reach out to us at any time.

In today’s ever-changing financial landscape, working with a financial adviser can be an invaluable asset to help you achieve your financial goals. Leverage on the financial advice to grow your financial dreams.
